Atlas Game How to Get Gold Easy
Do treasure maps, the more people the higher gold potential
You dont' actually need a group, just lots of treasure maps and lots of ammo.
Have a spy glass, look at floating boxes, pickup anything over a 7.0,
That and do treasure hunts
Run around coast and farm treasure maps (best done on a fast pet).
Save maps, after a while you will have like 12-20 maps on same island so even though you get a small amount from close islands it becomes worth it with so many maps.
Collect several big maps and go on a route between them.
I got 15k gold from 1 trip before I had to go back to base because my brig was getting full on weight, highest I got so far was 3.8k gold from 1 map.
The weight on the gold from those big maps is a pain, 3.8k gold is ~1.5k weight, so not fun to move it to the boat.
I have seen youtube videos where they do treasure maps with multiple players, they seem to just split the loot evenly so no point in having more players.
You can solo the treasure maps that say 2000+ potentional gold.

also get piracy and put points into shovel you get 20% more gold i did 108-188 and got more than that.
I'm wondering how you haul large quantities of gold. Unless they were planning on adding some kind of spanish treasure ship I have no idea how you'd haul the gold needed to bug a dragon.

It only costs 20k gold, I think that is 8k weight. Easy to bring on a brig or galleon.
After that you have to slowly move it from ship storage to vendor since you can carry unlimited weight but you are reduced to maybe 1-3% speed.
Btw dragon only lasts for 6 hours so I would say it is a waste to buy it.
Ah, someone told me it was 40k so I was off by double. Yeah, that's a shame. Six hours is nothing in this game. A laggy zone can take two just to sail across practically.
Though supposedly you can ride the dragon.

use to be 40k they reduced it a few patches ago

Yeah but its not 1:1 scale.Say your treasure map is 720 Gold. if you go alone, You'll get something like 720 Gold.
Say your treasure map is 720 Gold. If you go with 5 people, You'll all get something like 300 ea.
Say your treasure map is 720 Gold. If you go with 10 people, You'll all get something like 300 ea.
etc.
So it doesn't give everyone the max amount, but it does give you more gold. Gold weighs too much imo.
Gold weighs alot. Real life entire ships were devoted to transporting gold.

Even now some keep looking for gold transport ships that have sunk but most have been found maybe.

Bro get a grapple hook and go out to sea and hunt for purple flotsam
The purple boxes are the ones you want
You can get about 100 gold in 20 minutes or less
Treasure maps otherwise
